Originally from Nottingham, Paul Thurlby now lives in London. Full-time illustrator since 2006, his graphic work is colorful and retro. The artist works for a wide variety of clients in various fields: children's publishing, advertising and the design industry. Among them: The Guardian, Templar Publishing, Hachette, Pimm, BBH New York, Mother London, Washington Post, McGarryBowen London, Penguin Group USA, The New Yorker, Nokia, Ted Baker, Warner / Chappell, Tate Enterprises, Vanity Fair. His series of works on world capitals is a personal project. A way to immortalize the cities he visited. Indeed, Paul cultivates a great passion for antique posters and that is evident in his work.
