The Hanaduri’s Hanji Book Frame A5 Plain circle is designed inspired by an ancient Korean book cover, the frame notebook cover design is made of circular and rectangular shapes features its structured and playful feel. Each element is screen-printed 3 to 4 times by hand, the frame itself is an artwork created with time and effort.
This notebook is made of Hanji, the traditional Korean paper made from the inner bark of Broussonetia papyrifera known colloquially as paper mulberry, a tree native to Korea known as dak. This material is strong but soft to the touch with the natural texture of the fibres. In addition, Hanji is a durable and versatile material, while retaining its lightness and beauty.
