Nib Holder Black Urushi

This pen holder from the Japanese brand Kakimori is made of Japanese cherry wood and lacquered using the traditional Fuki-urushi technique. With a length of 7 inches, it is designed for comfortable writing and fits perfectly in the hand like a standard pencil.

Can be combined with Pen Nib or Metal Nib Brass. Nib not included.

The fuki-urushi technique, widely used in historical Japanese architecture, involves first staining the penholder with sumi ink and then applying a coat of black lacquer, highlighting the beauty of both the lacquer and the wood grain.

The simplicity of the lacquer's matte finish brings understated elegance to any desk or writing occasion.
