Hanaduri

A crafts and design studio run by twin sisters, based in Seoul. Hanaduri means one(hana) and two(duri). They specialize in crafting a variety of handmade products that are reinterpreted with their bold and unique graphic styles inspired by nature, culture and everyday life. Since Hanaduri was founded, Hanji has become the dominant material for their product designs. With a curiosity for Hanji that has a thousand-year history, they strive to explore and create designs that could revive the uses and value of Hanji in modern days. Hanji is Korean paper made from the inner bark of Broussonetia papyrifera known colloquially as paper mulberry, a tree native to Korea known as dak.
