The Sapote S Vase is part of the Santiago de Borja collection, a series of ceramic pieces that brings Shirley Villavicencio Pizango’s artistic world into three-dimensional form. Its vibrant colors and expressive brushstrokes evoke the warmth of the Amazon and the spontaneity of her portraits.
Hand-painted with a different illustration on each side, the vase reveals a new perspective depending on how it is viewed. It can be used to display flowers or enjoyed on its own as a sculptural object. As each piece is finished by hand, slight irregularities and variations may occur, adding to its unique character.
