Description
The Nuage vases, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, made their first appearance in 2012. Reminiscent of a cloud, the motif was originally produced as a plastic shelf module that can be grouped into clusters or large-scale configurations. Over the years, the Bouroullec brothers have varied this shape and repeatedly incorporated it in their graphic work.
The Nuage vase has a cloud motif in extruded aluminium profiles of varying lengths. The cavities divide the vase into eight individual tubes that can be used for the artful arrangement of flowers and grasses. The undulating surfaces produce an attractive interplay of light and shadow. Combine different colors and sizes and fit them together to create entire 'cloud formations'.
The Nuages vases are made of coloured, anodised aluminium.
