Jean Mallard (France, 1997) is a passionate and talented artist. His sources of inspiration are comics, Miyazaki, Russian folk painters, Indian and Arabic miniatures, Japanese prints and naïf painters such as Douanier Rousseau. Bologna Grand Prix, 2018. His favorite techniques for creating detailed worlds are watercolor and gouache. With his art, he succeeds in immersing viewers in a dense and colorful visual universe.
