Description
La Danza by Danish artist Søren Behncke is a tribute to the French painter Henri Matisse. Like the famous painting "Dance" by the Fauvist artist, Behncke wanted to represent a game with movement, but this time with the movement created by tourists posing next to the tower of Pisa.
Behncke is an artist who often pays homage to other painters by creating paintings and graphic works inspired by their photographs or paintings.
To create this work, it was used a lino cut printing technique that uses a tonality between orange and blue tones.
