Umasqu

Tzachi Nevo is the designer and creator of the unique modern wall decor brand Umasqu, since 2015. In 1990 he graduated from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design’s Industrial Design department. He worked for 25 years, not as a designer but in different positions in the advertising and web world. In 2015 he founded Umasqu and started working with three dimensional designs of familiar images such as human faces and animals heads. Nevo enjoys playing with these familiar images, disassambling and reconstructing them. He draws inspiration from different design languages, such as mid century modern, steampunk and cubism. His pieces are not one of a kind but at the same time are limited in quantity. It's important for him to create affordable art. Nevo has created custom walls for Waze, Strauss Group (Israel's leading coffee company) and many startup companies in Israel.

Ahí empezó a trabajar con diseños tridimensionales de imágenes familiares, como rostros humanos y cabezas de animales. Nevo disfruta jugando con estas imágenes familiares, deconstruyéndolas y volviéndolas a armar a su manera. Su inspiración viene de distintos lenguajes de diseño, como el mid century modern, steampunk y el cubismo. Sus piezas no son únicas pero al mismo tiempo el tiraje es limitado. Para Nevo es importante crear arte que se asequible. Nevo ha creado paredes por encargo para Waze, Strauss Group (Empresa de café líder en Israel) y muchas compañías en crecimiento en Israel.
