O My Bag's Leather
O My Bag's premium eco-friendly leathers are tanned without the use of harmful chemicals like chromium and have no synthetic finish. They choose to work with naturally tanned leather not only because it is safer for people and the planet, but also because it gives each O My Bag product a unique look and feel. They also have bags and accessories made with a vegan alternative based on apple waste.
COLOR EVOLUTION
O My Bag products are designed to last a lifetime, and over the years you will often see a gradual change in color. This is one of the characteristics of natural vegetable tanned leathers. Some colors will remain true to their original hue, but many vegetable tanned leathers will change with use.
LIGHT SCRATCHES
Due to careful handling, the hides may arrive with minor scratches from shipping. These can be removed with the appropriate leather lotion, such as Collonil 1909 Leather Lotion or Collonil Organic Shine & Care.
STREAKS AND TICKS MARKS
All leather is cowhide and will naturally come into contact with its environment. The natural appearance of the leather is maintained. This means that marks such as ticks or streaks may be visible on the leather.
UNEVEN SURFACE
In some designs, the leather is sewn inside out and then stretched. This process can cause some surfaces to appear uneven.
