Tyto Alba (Badalona, 1975) took his first professional steps as a painter to later devote himself to illustration, becoming an author of comics. His works include "Fellini in Rome", "Balthus and the Count of Rola", "Whitman", and the adaptation of "Infinity in a reed".

His influences come from European cartoonists of the 50's (or 40's-60's), such as Saul Steinberg, Sempé, Tomi Ungerer, Ronald Searle, and William Steig, as well as from cinema. His favorite technique is watercolor, with an apparently simple and precise style, with a naturalistic and costumbrist air, with fresh, direct and expressive strokes.
