Description
The Cilindro vase is made of porcelain, handmade and fired at high temperature. Porcelain is the queen of the ceramic pastes because it is the most complicated to handle, but also the most appreciated for its white color, its great hardness and its translucent quality.
It is also interesting to know that the vase decorated with gold lustre goes through the kiln three times, since it is only on the third firing that the lustre penetrates the pore to be fixed.
For this reason, these vases, made in porcelain and handmade one by one, can have slight variations among them.
The outer surface of the vase shows the porcelain in its natural state, decorated with a line of colored glaze, while the inner surface is glazed, which allows it to be used as a functional object.
