The Revolt Chair, originally designed by Friso Kramer, has been reissued by HAY in collaboration with Ahrend. One of Friso Kramer's most iconic designs, the Revolt Chair reflects his distinctive minimalist style and features a revolutionary design and choice of materials, using a bent sheet steel frame instead of the traditional tubular frame.

The chair is reproduced using the same process, retaining the functionality and robust construction that characterized its mid-century predecessor. However, a selection of sustainable materials has been incorporated, including a blend of post-consumer recycled material and virgin ABS.

The Revolt chair features an ergonomic, dynamic and flexible design that adapts to the user, providing active support in work environments as well as during meals or conferences. Its comfort, durability and timeless aesthetics make it a suitable choice for a wide range of spaces, whether private, corporate or public.
